Rapid Response North West has provided medical cover since 2019, when it was founded by a group of people with a passion for delivering quality care to those in need in our local area. Since then, we have grown and now provide medical cover across the UK.
Event medical cover is an essential service for any event, large or small. Rapid Response North West provides comprehensive medical cover for events of all sizes, ensuring that attendees are safe, secure, and within a well-governed service.
Our team of experienced professionals will provide the necessary medical equipment and personnel to ensure that your event runs smoothly and safely. We provide a range of services including first aid, emergency disaster relief, and mental health guidance and sign pointing, suicide intervention.
We do not compromise on safety to achieve a low price: any recommendations we make for a given level of event medical cover will be based on our experience and national guidelines, including the Purple Guide.

We have extensive experience in providing medical cover for a variety of events including food & drink fairs, music festivals, sporting events, corporate functions, water sport events and more.

As a minimum, all our first responders hold the First Response Emergency Care (FREC) 3 qualification. This qualification is considered the minimum level of training suitable for first aiders at events by the authors of the Purple Guide (Chapter 5, paragraph 22). All of our staff are trained to use a defibrillator and medical oxygen.
At all events we cover we will provide as a minimum:
- At least one Automated External Defibrillator
- Medical oxygen
- Standard first aid consumables
- An on-call senior clinician
- A medical plan document
For events where there is a risk of traumatic injury, we can provide Nitronox, a safe and effective form of inhaled pain relief that our staff are trained to administer for moderate to severe pain.
To protect you and your customers, Rapid Response North West holds full public and professional liability and medical malpractice insurance, with further details available on request.

Water Rescue Medical
Are you hosting a Water Based Event? We can provide Swiftwater Trained staff, who are also Medically Trained and Equipped to deal with any eventuality based in & around the water.
